A brightly coloured map of East Anglia & Essex, with cartoon figures of the sun with smiling face shining down on various people: a woman swimming; a boy with a bucket and spade; a girl wearing a pink wide brimmed hat, with a bucket and net; a man in plus-fours playing golf; a fisherman smoking a pipe; a man sleeping in a deckchair, his face covered with a newspaper; a man fishing from a boat; a woman playing tennis; a man diving; and a man riding a horse. The design features additional small items such as: a windmill, toy yacht, rabbits, birds, fish and crabs.
