Physical description | Girl's dress is made from think cotton printed with a geometric and floral pattern in black, green, brown, purple and pink. The dress has long sleeves that have been taken in at the wrists. It features and black, slightly pleated chest panel with a central black zip running from the neck downwards. The dress still has its original label and price tag attached to the inside. |

Object history | This dress was donated by Jackie and Norman Newton who opened a children's clothing boutique in Essex in the early 1970s. The dress was one of the items saved after the shop closed a few years later. The objects donated by the Newtons were foten worn by their own children. |
