Handbill advertising Mr Finn's 'Experiments of Fancy Glass Working in Miniature', to be seen at 161 The Strand, London, dated in pencil, 29 August 1817.

The experiments include 'Spinning Common Glass into a finer Substance than any Thing in the World'. Glass ornaments will be made and can be bought. These include 'A variety of Glass Feathers, Pens, Ornamental Ships. Fancy Figures of various Descriptions, Birds, Quadrupeds, Baskets, Segar Tubes, and other Curiosities, too numerous to insert in the limits of this Bill'. Segar is a 19th century spelling of cigar.
