YELLOW PAGES JACKET
Moschino CheapAndChic, Spring/Summer 1994
Rayon and acetate, with metal telephone tokens
For this woman’s jacket, Moschino references advertising pages from the Milan telephone directory. The textile slyly modifies the designer logos, poking fun at Moschino himself and fashion houses such as Hermès (here Charmès) and Max Mara (which appears as Fax Sara). Moschino crafted the buttons from the once common ‘gettoni’ or Italian telephone tokens.
