Puppet of Punch, ca. early 20th century. Part of a set of assorted Guignol and Punch puppets. Guignol is the French Punch. These figures are all of the 20th century, but very much belong with their older ancestors.

Dress decorated in blue at the front; upper part of the legs in blue fabric. Also wearing a yellow collar and a red and blue hat with small bell at the top. Mr Punch's hunch is sewn at the back, in stuffed fabric. |
