This glove puppet of Sherlock Snoop, based on the Arthur Conan Doyle character Sherlock Holmes, was made by Paul Hansard for his puppet show Snoop in 1975.
Paul Hansard’s career as a one-man puppeteer began in 1971 when John Wright invited him to give six puppet shows at the Little Angel Marionette Theatre in Islington. Over the course of his career as a one-man puppet show between 1971 and 1994 Paul Hansard created 13 shows, gave 3,971 performances and made over 200 puppets
