This print depicts Tom and Jerry, who are shown linked arms and holding hats, are introduced to the performer playing Don Giovanni in Mozart's opera of the same title. Also pictured are the characters Mercury, who is leaning against a chimney, and Pluto, who is sitting on a settee. Other actors in costume are in the background.

This may have been a scene from Tom and Jerry, or Life in London, the stage adaptation by William Moncrieff of Pierce Egan's book Life in London, or Days and Nights of Jerry Hawthorne and his elegant friend Corinthian Tom that opened at London's Adelphi Theatre in London in 1821.
