Physical description | Cover of the sheet music for an Octoroon Quadrille. There is a large image entitled 'The Slave Sale' in the centre of the page which depicts a group of people in a hall, one man in the foreground is trying to run towards another who is rolling his sleeves up. The man attempting to run is wearing a white suit and is being held back by a man in a black suit. In the background is a man standing on a platform with a gavel in his hand. Beside him is a woman wearing a white dress standing on another platform. The credits for the song are printed below the image. |
