Print depicting John Charles Freer in the role of Alonzo the Patriot. Freer wears a soldier's uniform with a plumed helmet, in one hand he holds a shield and in the other, which is raised, he holds an axe. In the lower half of the portrait, some background has been drawn behind the figure. Image has been coloured. Title and publication details are printed below the image.
