Furnishing Fabric
2006 (designed), 2006 (made)
Artist/Maker
Place of origin

Natasha Marshall graduated from Glasgow School of Art in Printed and Knitted Fabrics, setting up her fabric company Squigee in 1997. Her fresh, hand printed designs proved extremely popular with the boutique hotel market and international hospitality venues. In 2004, she re-launched her fabrics and wall coverings under the Natasha Marshall brand at 100% Design, London.

Marshall is inspired by architecture and the urban environment, as well as Britain's historic floral tradition. Her designs are characterised by bold colour combinations and her simple abstract patterns are particularly suited to be retro trend in domestic interiors..

'Always' is from the Park Collection and can be read as a contemporary take on the traditional daisy pattern, reflecting Marshall's ability to reinvent the floral tradition. It can also reflect the urban environment, and vehicular sign postings - the many roundabouts which inhabit our towns and cities.
