This two piece ensemble consists of a jacket and dress.
The jacket is inspired by an outdoor storm jacket in a Tibetan shape. It is comprised of different strips of fabric assembled by a bourdon stitch. The jacket has a black ribbed wool neckline and flourescent yellow mink collar. The body of the jacket is made from traditional Tibetan fabric woven in a roll shape and overprinted with cross motifs. These motifs are handprinted with wooden stamps which are traditionally used to decorate Buddhist Temples.
The dress takes its inspiration from Indonesian textiles and is made from transparent silk printed with mask and Ikat patterns. It has applied, gathered ruffles down the front and has been lined by hand.
