Glug Glug

Computer Game
1984 (released)
Artist/Maker
Place of origin

This game was published by CRL, a UK based programming firm who published titles for many computer systems in the mid-1980s. Glug Glug was an arcade action game in which the main character is a diver, whom the player controls in trying to reclaim treasure from the ocean floor, avoiding the killer sea life. The cassette-based software took several minutes to load, unlike the near instantaneous cartridge or today's optical discs, which meant a long wait in anticipation before being able to play.
