This game was one of a series released by Mastertronic. Aimed at the budget market, they were available for less than £2.00 and distributed through local newsagents as well as the usual high street outlets. Bosconian '87 was a home remake of an early 1980s arcade shoot-'em-up in which the player must defend Earth from an alien attack. As with most games for the Sinclair Spectrum, it would be loaded by playing the cassette, taking several minutes before you could play.
