Screen printed poster advertising an exhibition of posters and other graphic works by Tom Eckersley, held at the Newcastle upon Tyne Polytechnic, January-February 1981.
A stylised image of a woman's head and shoulders. She is wearing a hat decorated with a bird, and although the woman is seen in profile, her only features are her red lips and brown hair. Her hat and dress are blue, black and green. The background of the poster is white, and all lettering is printed in black. At the top of the poster, is the exhibition tile, 'Tom Eckersley Graphic Work 1934-83', and below this the dates. Running vertically along the right edge of the poster are the location details. The artist's name, 'ECKERSLEY' is printed in the lower right corner.
