The Indian film industry is the largest in the world, producing films which range from regional-language cinema to art house. These films are watched by billions of people across the globe. They have their own distinct style characterised by song and dance sequences, bold, colourful imagery, stories within stories, archetypal characters and exaggerated depictions of emotion. The films provide escapist entertainment and characters and themes conveying traditional moral values. The film industry generates music, fashion and images which have become an integral part of the popular culture of urban India.

Set in Mumbai city this film looks at the life of police in the city, the politicians and the criminal underworld.

In the centre is one man with the word ‘POLICE’ in white across his chest. There are three other men standing behind him. Below this in large red letters is the title ‘Aan’ in English and immediately below this is the substittle ‘MEN AT WORK’ in white lettering on a red background and enclosed by a blue border.
At lower edge details of producer, director, music all in white. At top left in black write on white background, and white on black, ‘A A Nadiadwal presents Base Industries Group’. Printers’ details in black at lowest right hand edge.
