COSTUME DESIGN FOR THE MARRIAGE OF FIGARO
1978
Rosemary Vercoe had to create costumes for the 16 members of the female chorus in The Marriage of Figaro, who appeared as peasants. Instead of producing a series of individual drawings, she grouped the figures on one sheet of paper to suggest a whole community and give an impression of how the costumes would look together.
