Child's ankle boot of black cloth lined in dark blue leathercloth with an additional lining of white linen at the toe, and an insole of brown linen. The boot has a square toe with a topstitched toecap of black patent leather, and two deep side vents bound with ribbed black ribbon which is secured with an interior line of herringbone stitch in orange thread. The unit sole of black leather has a cross-hatched section at the waist, and the areas at the heel and toe are stamped in a pattern of a spray of foliage and berries with traces of gilding.
