Large palampore (bed-cover or wall-hanging) of painted and dyed cotton chintz. The design consists of huge palmettes in shades of red converging on a central space filled with feather or leaf motifs. In each corner there is a shield-shaped element filled with floral decoration. Finished with a narrow border simulating a fringe. With four short lines of brocaded cotton at the selvage edge of the lower right corner.

Physical description
Large palampore (bed-cover or wall-hanging) of painted and dyed cotton chintz. The design consists of huge palmettes in shades of red converging on a central space filled with feather or leaf motifs.
