Callbuoy series 14A distress radio telephone

Radio Telephone
1973 (made)
Artist/Maker
Place of origin

This award-winning series 14A Callbuoy is the basic model for small boats and illustrates the care which has gone into the design of the whole range.

LRW Electronics comments: "The use of plastics for the box helps to maintain the radiated power level. We are always on the lookout for ways on improving the Callbuoy. For instance, we have recently made the silicone rubber buttons easier to operate with cold, wet fingers by thinning the rubber section around the centre of the button so that it is more flexible."
