Cotton suit with wool coat
In 1982 Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana began collaborating as fashion consultants in Milan. Soon after, they started to design women’s ready-to-wear under their Dolce & Gabbana label. They added menswear to their offerings in 1990, and the following year were awarded the Woolmark Award for most innovative men’s collection of the year.
