VERA MOLNÁR (born 1924)
(Dis)Order ((Des)Ordres)
Paris, 1974
Vera Molnár is fascinated by the relationship between order and disorder. In her (Dis)Order series she changed the parameters of her algorithm to randomly disrupt the regularity of the concentric squares. The contrast between order and disorder creates the impression of movement, as if the squares are vibrating against one another.
