The copper body has an applied rolled silver rim and silver base plate with the jungin mark. The decoration is of two types of chrysanthemum in silver yusen with areas of shosen, particularly on the stems. Set against a pale pink to beige ground, the petals and some of the leaves are in low relief moriage with subtle shading to both the petals (white with a green and yellow centre) and the leaves (dark and light green enamels). The counter-enamel is of two tones: a mottled dark blue with matt white immediately inside the neck. The interior of the base has the mark of the Ando Company in silver yusen.
