KRAFTWERK/ THE MAN MACHINE
Gallery label
(2019)
Designers looked to the past and the future, drawing inspiration for a new postmodernity. Kraftwerk's design was inspired by the Russian Constructivist El Lissitzky (1890-1941) while the band Bauhaus used the minimally drawn logo of the Bauhaus design school. The influences of Bauhaus and Russian Constructivism still reverberate through visual culture.
