Tex, China, 21st century. Shoe, high heel and platform, sandal type, with shoe bag, Mary Ching, Shanghai, A/W 2010.
Physical description
A pair of high heel platform shoes in 'gladiator' sandal style. Uppers made of ponyskin in leopard pattern, edges and heels in golden Chinese snakeskin, and platform draped in gold jacquard fabric. Insole made of gold leather, except toe which is golden Chinese snakeskin. Short zip at centre back, with golden Chinese snakeskin tassel for puller. Sole in purple leather with makers mark. Size 39.
