Sketchbook containing pencil drawings of Bass Rock, Edinburgh Castle (as well as the bridges and church spires of the city), Holyrood (including deatils of the Palace and Abbey), Hopetoun House, Linlithgow Palace, Tantallon Castle as seen from the sea, St. Andrews and finally a two page sketch of the Ouse Bridge in York. There are also MS notes about Stirling. There are 18 pages of thick paper in total, with others having been removed at some stage.
