The mundu set is a traditional garment worn by the women of Kerala, India. It consists of two pieces of fabric, one larger in length and width than the other. Each piece has a decorative border of the same colour. The larger piece is worn on the lower half of the body, the smaller piece is worn over the top half and draped across the shoulder like a sari.

Physical description
Two piece Mundu set, cream ground with blue and white striped borders. The borders at the width end of the fabric are edged with gold zari. This is a traditional Keralan garment for women, the larger piece of fabric is worn on the lower half of the body and the smaller piece across the top half and over the shoulder like a sari.
