She said of this outfit at the time of donation: "I always like to dress comfortably and casually, and at the same time be a bit sexy. These days there are plenty of ways to look and feel all of these, and still be fashionable whether I am DJ-ing at a club, just chilling out at home, or anything in between."

Part of an outfit that was worn by DJ Slamma to represent Lesbian Style 1994 for the Street Style exhibition in 1994-95. DJ Slamma is a French-born, London-based lesbian disc jockey who has played music at club nights around the world. At the time of her donating this outfit, she stated it was based upon the style of the cartoon heroine Tank Girl featured in the Deadline Magazine. The donor stated at the time of donation: "I always like to dress comfortably and casually, and at the same time be a bit sexy. These days there are plenty of ways to look and feel all of these, and still be fashionable whether I am DJ-ing at a club, just chilling out at home, or anything in between." The dog-tags worn as part of this outfit were acquired at, and worn during New York Pride, an annual festival that celebrates LGBTQ people and communities. |
