Object history
Purchased. Registered File number 1990/2183. One of two pieces with T.183:1-1991.

The lace came into the Museum attached as sleeve trimmings to an 18th century dress (T.426&A-1990). Although it was correct in date, the attachment was not contemporary so the lace was removed by Conservation. Some later net is still attached to it.
