Registered File number 1994/1282, Streetstyle exhibition 1994-1995, in the exhibition it was part of the outfit called 'Matt Black Minimal UK 1984-88' (includes the jeans T.703-1994, the belt T.704-1994, the portfolio T.705-1994, the shoes T.707-1994 and the top T.708-1994).


Part of a man's outfit represented the 1984-88 Matt Black Minimal look in the Street Style exhibition of 1994-5. It was worn by Tony Glenville.
Historical context
During the 1980s black was the strongest, longest fashion colour, both within the business and on the high street. This extended to accessories and within the home.
