Teapot and cover of hard-paste porcelain, painted in enamels and gilded; with globular body and flat cover completely encased in applied mayflower blossom (in imitation of Meissen's 'Schneeballen' decoration) overlaid with applied rose trails, painted in enamels and gilded, and with applied naturalistic canaries. The handle and spout are naturalistically modelled as tree branches and painted in gold.
