This design is simialr to that illustrated by A.W.N.Pugin in his 'Glossary of Ecclesiastical Ornament', 1844. The draughtsmanship of this design, however, is hesitant and the drawing mat therefore be an early work of E.W.Pugin to whom it is attributed.
