Production type: UK premiere. Beatrice Smith played the role of the Duchess in this production. Ricketts's original design for the Duchess is reproduced as an illustration in a limited edition of Saint Joan (Constable, 1924) in the Museum's Library. The illustration has been autographed by Beatrice Smith.
