Object history | A few days after Pugin's marriage to Jane Knill on 10 August 1848, they set out on a wedding tour which covered many of the principal medieval buildings in the country. They were at Whitby on 2 September, Alnick and Warkworth on 6 September, as Warwick and Kenilworth on 15 September and at Wells and Gloucester on 18 September. |
