Place of origin |
Lace pattern with six designs.
The largest design is a bertha collar of narrow overlapping vermicular bobbin-made tapes interspersed at intervals with heart shapes filled in half stitch.
DES 52 is for a border including a corner with the pattern worked with continuous clothwork tape linked by bars.
A narrower version of the one above in which the tape loops over itself to form some of the loops along the outer edge.
Two square intersections in the centre filled with scrolling bobbin-made tape. Both labelled '170'.
One small square in cutwork style, presumable also intended to be worked in bobbin lace.
The sheet is printed in black on green paper, and labelled 'Scuola Coop. Brazza proprieta Artistica Riservata'.
