The poster shows Arthur Nelstone with his coat over his arm, varrying luggage covered with luggage labels from New York, London, Sydney, Paris, Vienna, Johannesburg and San Franciso. He is depicted within a manget shape on which is noted 'Arthur Nelstone A magnectic attraction', and at each end of the magnet a small line drawing shows him performing various comic dances. The message on the poster is in French, English and German - meant to emphasise Nelstone's unbiquity and ability to travel!

Object history
Originally part of the collection of memorabilia owned by Mahala (Marie Girdlestone), since Arthur Nelstone, a Musical Comedy eccentric dancer and comedian, was her father. (See also S.887-1997). Associated Production: Performer: Arthur Nelstone. Performance category: variety, revue, speciality act. Arthur Nelstone was a comedy eccentric dancer, who married a Gaiety Girl. They became an established act in theatre and cabaret on the Continent. Their daughter, Marie Nelstone (Girdlestone) was born in Paris, 1907, and died 1991. She was trained by her father to join his act. As her talent developed she was featured in the act and billed as MAHALA & CO.
