Object history
This poster was framed and hung in Oscar Lewenstein's study at his house in Brighton. He was General Manager of the Royal Court Theatre from 1952-1954, a founder member of The English Stage Company Ltd., and its Chairman from 1970. This poster, and S.876-1997, was given to the Theatre Museum by his widow Eileen Lewenstein when she moved from the house in 1997 after Oscar Lewenstin's death. Associated Production: Come Together. Performers: Steeleye Span, Atomic Rooster, Fotheringay, Brotherhood of Brass. 21.10.1977- ?.11.1970. Performance category: rock and pop, jazz, folk. Production type: music festival.
