Object history | Associated Production: Ginnett's Olympia Circus and Hippodrome, Windsor Castle Stag Hunt. Proprietor: Claude Ginnett. St. Neots. Performance category: circus. The venue is added in pencil under the printed heading 'Ginnett's Olympia'. The Windsor Castle Stag Hunt was the main attraction noted and depicted on the poster 'with full pack of Hounds and Two Superb Stags'. |
Production | A note on the poster says that there were '27 Acts in the Mammoth programme'. There was a 'Grand Procession' at 1pm and a 'Gigantic Waterproof Pavillion with a 'Monster Hippodrome Track'. Prices were 3/- for reserved stalls: 2/- for boxes: 1/- for the Pit and 1/- for the Arena. Children were half price to all areas except the Arena. Schoolchildren were admitted to the Gallery during afternoon performances for 2d each. |
