Object history
This poster was used for the tour this season since it has a space for printing the venue and date. Associated Production: Fosset Brothers' Circus. Performers: Star (seesaw midget pony), Madcap Jess ('the only girl knife thrower at human targets in Europe'), Cheroikee (the human ape), Miss Candy Floss (the sweetest thing in show business), Judy (the horse with the human brain), Robert and May (tightrope performer), The Fossetti Sisters (aerial performers), Freda and Frenchi (jugglers), The Crackaways (rope spinning), Bobo and Skimpy (clowns). 1970 (c). Performance category: circus. The adult 'popular prices' were 3/-, 4/6, and 6/-. Since the prices are quoted in pounds and pence and the programme has many of the acts on S.3761-1995 and S.3763-1995, this probably dates from about 1969. The prices are lower than those on S.3762-1995.
