Object history | Associated Production: Cilla Black. Presenter: Nick Thomas Entertainments Ltd. Performers: Cilla Black. Fulcrum Centre, Slough. 14.10.1983. Performance category: rock and pop. Cilla Black was a hat check girl at the Cavern Club in Liverpool in the early 1960s when the Beatles were playing there. The Beatles' manager, Brian Epstein was asked by the group to hear Cilla sing and consequently she was taken on by Epstein. Her real name is Priscilla White. Tickets were GBP5.00, 4.00 and 3.50. |
