Performers: King Leo (ventriloquist), Will Souls (comedian), Linton (trapeze artiste), Pattie Bella (comedienne), Sascha (gladiator), Frank Walker (clown and auguste), O'Connor and Brady (comedians), Elton and Elma (comedy acrobats). Algie's Circus and Novelty Hippodrome, Crown Street, Botchergate, Carlisle. 4.12.ca. 1920. Performance category: circus, variety, cinema. This programme includes more Variety than Circus despite taking place in 'Algie's Circus and Novelty Hippodrome'. However it does advertise a Sea-lion act the following week and also 'Always up-to-date new films'.
