Robin Askwith (b.1950) made his name as Timothy Lea in the 1970s Confessions series of sex-romp films including Confessions of a Window Cleaner (1974) and Confessions of a Driving Instructor (1976). This show and its poster echo the seaside postcard type of humour of the show, with cartoon images of 'nude nymphs' and 'naughty knights', advertising itself as a: 'bawdy laughter romp', 'live theatre at its naughtiest' and 'for adults only'
