Object history
This poster, dated 25 September 1809, is issued by the Proprietors of the theatre to tell the public, 'that this theatre will be closed till the Committee of Gentlemen to whose Investigation their Books and Accounts are to be submitted, have examined and made up their opinions upon them' It adds that 'Due notice will be given of the re-opening of the Theatre'.
