Object history | The poster advertises the opening of the new theatre for the first English Opera season. The poster notes that the box office will open on the 16th of December under the direction of Mr. J. Parsons. Associated Production: Satanella, or, The Power of Love! (opera by Mr W. Balfe, librettists: A. Harris, Mr E. Falconer), Ballet Divertissement! (dance premiere). Performers: Miss Louisa Pyne, Miss Rebecca Isaacs, Mr George Honey, Mr W. H. Payne. (Satanella).
