Object history
This poster is one of several that were produced to advertise the play on tour - see also S.524 to S.526-1995. It includes the quotation from the play, 'Come Forth! Beggar and Outcast and in Rags' Details of venue and dates would have been overposted. Associated Production: A Message From Mars. Playwright: Richard Ganthony. Mr Mouillot's Company. ca. 1900. Performance category: drama. Production type: tour. The original production of this play was at The Avenue Theatre (22.1.1899) which is why the touring posters are filed in the Avenue file.
