Object history | This poster is one of several that were produced to advertise the play on tour - see also S.519, S.520 and S.522-1995. It includes the words 'The Greatest Success on the Road', and 'Ahead of Everything'. Details about venue and dates would have been added later. Associated Production: The Lady Slavey. Playwright: George Dance. Composer: John Crook. 1894(c). Performance category: musical comedy. Production type: tour. The original production of this musical comedy was at The Avenue Theatre (20.10.1894) which is why the touring posters are filed in the Avenue file. |
