Pictorial and typographic poster advertising a production of Paper Wings, by Watts Phillips (1825-1874) at the Olympic Theatre, London, 1869. The production features a central image in which a man is flying above a cityscape. His arms are outstretched and he is holding a large feather in each of his hands. Strips of paper are suspended from these feathers and are also floating down towards the city below him.
