The play had originally been part of The Slab Boys Trilogy under the title The Loveliest Time of the Year (Traverse Theatre 19 May1979) and later as Cuttin' a Rug . In its rewritten form, as Threads, it was first performed at the Hampstead Theatre, London on 13 March 1980. |
