POSTER FOR MISS SAIGON
1989

The poster for Miss Saigon was inspired by East Asian calligraphy and imagery. It combines the sun, a helicopter and a partially hidden female face to represent a tragic love affair between a young Asian woman and an American soldier during the Vietnam War. The design was re-used internationally and became part of the branding of the show.
