Object history
This is the same poster as S.751-1984 although that is not overposted with the details about the circus not appearing in Cambridge. Associated Production: Bertram Mills' Circus. Performer: C. Hess (and his horses). London Road, Bedford. 19.10.1931-24.10.1931. Performance category: circus. This has an overposter slip noting: 'The Circus will not visit Cambridge this season'. Cambridge and Bedford are fairly near each other so Mills hoped to attract a Cambridge audience by noting that the circus was not going there.
