Place of origin

Although not as successful as Cranks, the musical review by the choreographer John Cranko, Keep Your Hair On, with music by John Addison, was notable for having sets designed by the photographer Tony Armstrong-Jones, with costumes by Desmond Heeley. The photograph used on this poster and the programme cover was also taken by Armstrong-Jones, and the girl with a long plait was his then girlfriend Princess Margaret, wearing a false hair piece.

The cast featured Rachel Roberts, John Turner, Erik Mork, Betty Marsden and Gilbert Vernon.
